Training programme for AICS staff based in field offices on the management of delegated cooperation projects, the use of PRAG for awarding contracts and grants to third parties and the RBM approach
In 2019, a collaboration began with the AICS office in Rome to deliver in-person training in Tunis to some representatives of the field offices with the aim of familiarising them with delegated cooperation. The main purpose of this training programme was to provide AICS staff with the necessary information and practical tools to properly submit applications for EU funding and manage EU-funded programmes in accordance with the rules of the Contribution Agreement. Subsequently, starting in 2020, similar programmes were delivered in virtual classroom mode for some of the AICS field offices. The aim of these trainings was to provide a clear framework on both the general rules of implementation of delegated cooperation projects and the use of the PRAG for the award of service, works and supply contracts and grants (Grants). Finally, in 2022, at the request of the AICS office in Maputo, a course on the new RBM approach adopted by AICS was developed and delivered.
Our activities:
- Development of an ad hoc course on the management of delegated cooperation projects on the basis of EU rules and the AICS itself
- Delivery of a 3-day in-person training session in Tunis for 70 representatives of the AICS foreign offices
- Delivery of a course in virtual classroom mode on the management of delegated cooperation projects for the AICS office in Khartoum
- Delivery of two courses on the use of PRAG for the awarding/management of supply/service/works contracts and grants to third parties
- Delivery of four training sessions in virtual classroom mode for AICS offices in Maputo and Yangon on PRAGs
- Development and delivery of a virtual classroom course on the Result-Based Management (RBM) approach

Fight against energy poverty: evaluation of the Doniamo Energia Calls

With the Be.St. – Beyond Stereotypes project we promote the development of a systemic approach across primary schools in order to facilitate relationship building amongst children based on respect and the acknowledgement of diversity in order for future generations to become more aware of their potentials.
