To evaluate is to give value. But to whom?
Organisations engaged in international cooperation or humanitarian aid often face-challenges difficulties in designing and implementing management, monitoring and evaluation systems. Limited time or insufficient expertise can reduce the effectiveness of projects.
PuntoSud has established its own Evaluation Lab, an internal centre of expertise offering an integrated approach to support organisations at every stage of the project cycle.
At PuntoSud, we adopt a Utilisation-focused evaluation approach to ensure that evaluation results are translated into practical use.
This method ensures that analyses and recommendations are clear, relevant and truly applicable for all actors involved in the process, from project teams to funding bodies to the citizens who benefit from the initiatives.
From the very beginning, we ask ourselves how results can be made accessible. This is not a given: it requires attention, creativity and the right tools. That is why, alongside to traditional reports, we also produce materials that facilitate the use and dissemination of results, including videos, infographics, summary sheets and other communication materials.
Our goal is to ensure that every investment in monitoring and evaluation generates value, is widely shared and remains accessible to a broad audience.

We work side by side with organisations to build tailor-made monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems.

We carry out independent monitoring and evaluations, formulating clear, applicable recommendations that can guide concrete choices.

In collaboration with the PuntoSud Academy, we also offer training courses and targeted consultancy services to strengthen organisations’ internal skills in monitoring, reporting and evaluation.

Through studies and research, we contribute to the evolution of approaches and methods in the sector, maintaining a strong focus on the actual use of tools, not just their existence.
Do you want to measure the results, effectiveness and sustainability of your interventions?
