Since 1999 we have been active in the field of international development and the social sector to identify and test new ideas for the resolution of social problems across Italy and the world.
Our objective is to improve the standard of living of the most vulnerable populations through the empowerment of communities and the strengthening of organizations and civil society.
Our mission is to develop, test and disseminate effective solutions to meet local and global social needs.
Our approach has been developed thanks to the experiences and skills acquired in over 20 years of activity as promoters of innovative methods in the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of projects
We believe that by building bridges between different subjects and know-how and focusing on the approaches necessary to obtain the desired change, we can find the most appropriate solutions to social problems.
We study in order to identify and strengthen social change models while using empirical evidence to elaborate and disseminate best practices.

For a Third Sector Entity, partnership is not just a mandatory choice. It can be a vocation closely related to one’s nature as an agent for change. In this context, we like to think of PuntoSud as a “connector” between actors not only in a solidarity and complementary sense to the public, but, if not above all, as a working group promoting links and enhancing the resources and skills of the territories. We are talking about “productive” ecosystems made up of citizens, civil society, public institutions, universities and businesses.
Over the years we have understood and invested in relationships, considering them a fundamental asset to recognize the validity of ideas and encourage experimentation both in Italy and in the world. We are talking about important institutions on a global level, such as, for example, the European Commission, the United Nations agencies, and Italian, for example, the foundations of banking origin. However, let us also think of the different realities of the European non-profit, for example the most recognized NGOs active at international level, and of a large number of small associations in the area.
Aware of our limitations, we are convinced that the freedom of action that the Third Sector Entities have gives us a strong responsibility to consolidate the networking between different actors, donors, implementers, public institutions, academia and private individuals. A precious work to ground the potential that always exists and to promote a constant development of collaboration methods.
