TRAINING

Services

The objective is to deliver to client organisations ad hoc training programs targeting specifically identified needs. Among others, training could address general and/or specific themes within the field of humanitarian aid and international cooperation. Particularly:

  • Modules on Project Cycle Management (including all phases)
  • Modules on Monitoring & Evaluation techniques
  • Modules on DG ECHO FPA
  • Modules on EuropeAid-funding modalities
  • Modules on specific budget lines

Training can be addressed either to personnel which is already active in the fields of international cooperation or humanitarian aid, or to unskilled or low-skilled future professionals or to civil servants. Spoken languages for the training are Italian, English, French and Spanish.

DG ECHO Training Program

punto.sud is part of the consortium, together with ISPI and MDF Brussels, who has signed a 4-year framework service contract with DG ECHO last September 2008.Through this contract the consortium has been entrusted by DG ECHO to provide training to DG ECHO staff and partners.

DG AIDCO Training Program

The project “Helpdesk platform and support to New Member States (NMS) Non State Actors/Local Authorities in the Development sector” is implemented by punto.sud s leading organization; People in Peril Association (Slovakia), Hungarian Baptist Aid (Hungary), APEL Service (Romania), FoRS - Czech Forum for Development Co-operation (Czech Republic) as implementing partners; Caritas Poland and Support to Life (Turkey) as Associates.
The training sessions on “EuropeAid-funding modalities and project management” are aimed at enhancing the managerial and reporting capacity of Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in EU New Member States with regard to EC-financed actions.
