The punto.sud helpdesk is a working group specifically designed in order to support partners in their work on the field. The helpdesk is intended to provide to all the partner staff a full relief and case by case support aimed to: fulfil Headquarter main obligations, accomplish Desk managerial tasks and facilitate key-staff work on the field.
The objective is to perform an on-going check on the quality of the operations in terms of donor compliance (PCM approach, procedures and reporting). The punto.sud helpdesk has followed an in-deep analysis on the main criticalities faced by partners such as procurement, internal procedures, report completeness, project design requirements, audit, project monitoring and evaluation.
The punto.sud Helpdesk, at present, is active with a highly-experienced équipe of punto.sud experts plus an additional roster of freelance; the helpdesk services target both donor agencies (e.g. DG ECHO and the Italian Civil Protection) and implementing agencies (manly NGOs).
