punto.sud is first and foremost a project-support research group. The foundation was formed in Milan, Italy, in 1999 by a group of professional consultants with broad experience in project preparation, management and evaluation as well as in training of humanitarian aid workers.
Our main goal is to support and optimise the activities of organisations working in the field of international development cooperation. We do this by taking charge of the outsourcing of part of the organisational process, and by starting new partnerships through the implementation of pilot projects.
punto.sud acts as a bridge between international agencies, non-governmental organisations, non-profit organisations, research centres and university departments, the public administration, and corporations.
Within this framework our activity moves on two interdependent tracks: institutional activity and delivering of specific services. In the first case, we include activities finalised to guarantee internal training, development of researches, realisation of pilot project and establishment and enhancement of partnership and networks. In the second case, punto.sud responds directly to specific demands carried out by our clients, mainly counselling, training sessions and supervision of organizative process.
