Mainstreaming DG ECHO policies in the Single Form

Course Description

The course focuses on specific sections of the Single form, and how to make them more compliant with the DG ECHO thematic policies (Focus on:  Humanitarian food assistance, Cash-based distribution, DRR, Gender and age, Shelter). All sections are viewed from a practical perspective with examples and scenario.

Specific Objective

To improve the participants’ knowledge and skills in designing an Action in the framework of the ECHO FPA 2014 and in making the Single Form compliant with ECHO policies.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course you will:

  • Understand why ECHO policies are important;
  • Get familiar with Single Form’s sections where a mainstream of ECHO policies is required;
  • Discover where to find information in ECHO documents.

ECHO partners’ staff.

Humanitarian aid workers involved in the design of ECHO funded Actions, both at field and HQ level. Suggested for advanced staff.
