EU visibility items

All leaflets and brochures should display the basic elements of the EU visual identity, i.e. the EU flag and the disclaimer, and project details, contact name, address, telephone, fax and e-mail. They should also clearly display a definition of the EU as reported in Annex 4 of the Manual. The cover page of any leaflet and brochure must clearly identify the action as being part of an EU-funded action, and the lower banner of the front page should display the disclaimer. Copies (including electronic copies) should be made available to the Commission.

The following are communication products which the implementing organisation should use where appropriate:

  • Press releases
  • Press conferences
  • Press visits
  • Leaflets, brochures and newsletters
  • Websites
  • Display panels
  • Commemorative plaques
  • Banners
  • Vehicles, supplies and equipment
  • Promotional items
  • Photographs
  • Audiovisuals productions
  • Public events and visits
  • Information campaigns

In the EuropeAid webpage dedicated to communication and visibility you will find readily usable templates in Word and EPS format for each visual element.
